McMurray Métis Cultural Centre
Designed by Mindful Architecture, a new cultural centre is planned for the Métis community in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
This 4672 square meter facility will include an art gallery, museum, conference spaces, child and family services and more. Parallel is excited to be part of the consultant team for such a technically complex building, creating the permit and construction drawings. The building, shaped in the unique infinity symbol, will be a Net Positive Building, using solar and geothermal energy. The rooftop unit will include a greenhouse garden.
